i wondered who invented the gearbox. he drives people crazy with his half-clutch ****. no wonder people nowadays just go automatic. it's been rather difficult trying to master the clutch pedal during practical lesson. my car stalled a few times cos' i released the clutch too fast.
steering is also quite dumb, you have to turn the steering wheel twice to make a 90 degrees turn. if Formula 1 cars work like that, Lewis Hamilton's hands will be tied up in knots after the race. i think my progress is quite fast, considering I'm picking up manual transmission. too bad i can't go on the road yet to try some gear shifting. my BTT is on 14 jan, although i think i'll still pass if they gave me one now.
btw, i got a job at ICA together with ruiyang. work's starting in January at changi airport t3. i guess it's gonna be a nice experience. the pay is abit sucky though, and i don't intend to elaborate on it. i think the most important thing is that i found something to get rid of my boredom.
